Plasma Cutting
Coastal Hydraulics offers premium plasma cutting.
Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials cut by this process include steel, aluminum, brass and copper though other conductive metals may be cut as well. Plasma cutting is often used in fabrication and welding shops, automotive repair and restoration, industrial construction, salvage and scrapping operations. Due to the high speed, precision cuts, combined with low cost of operation, plasma cutting sees a widespread usage from large scale industrial CNC applications.
Coastal Hydraulics uses high definition CNC plasma cutting and piercing for fabricating complex shapes from up to 1 1/4" thick plates. This ensures a continuous and quick production process that minimizes the cost of multiple set-ups.
Coastal’s dedicated cutting department is manned by a team that has mastered the learning curve in the cutting business through years of experience. The end result is that Coastal’s customers receive quality work backed up by QA for each job.
